Disposable cameras use a simple lens and flash. During the day in the garden, they offer a charming look, but during dinner or on the dance floor, photos often turn out grainy, blurry, or underexposed. The most beautiful moments (first dance, toasts) rarely succeed.
After the wedding, you collect all cameras, take them to a developer, and wait several weeks. Often it turns out half the rolls are overexposed or double-exposed, and guests have no idea what photos they actually took in the meantime.
There's no way to check if guests activated the flash or even clicked. Some cameras get lost in the chaos of the day, and you never see those photos.

If you are strictly going for the analog aesthetic and value 15 to 30 carefully chosen shots more than hundreds of digital photos. Also lovely as table decor or an icebreaker. For an intimate daytime garden party with fewer than 30 guests, a handful of disposable cameras might be enough.
Combine both. Put one disposable camera per table for the nostalgia, and place a discrete Partylio QR code next to it for volume and video. This way, you get both the analog charm and all the evening moments from your guests. Have to choose? Go for Partylio: more images, less risk, no waiting time.
