How to throw a Halloween party at home: ideas that actually work

Halloween is one of the easiest parties to host. Everybody knows what is expected, costumes break the ice on their own and a few candles already do half the work. It still goes wrong on small things, so here is what works.

Halloween comes from All Hallows' Eve, the night before All Saints' Day on 1 November.
